step 1 : difference between the sequence = 2
step 2 : term before the first term =2 ( 4-2=2)
step 3:nth term = 21
Formula = nth term * difference - term before the first term
21*2+2=44
21st term is 44

The first five term of the sequences are 7,10,13,16 19
work out the 11th term of the sequence.
Ans .
step 1 : difference between the sequence = 3
step 2 : term before the first term =4 ( 7-3=4)
step 3:nth term = 11
Formula = nth term * difference - term before the first term
11*3 + 4= 37
11th term is 37
Question 3
The first four term of the sequences are 6,15,24,33
work out the 999th term of this sequence.
Ans .
step 1 : difference between the sequence = 9
step 2 : term before the first term =-3 ( 6-9=-3)
step 3:nth term = 999
Formula = nth term * difference - term before the first term
999*9-3 = 8988
999th term is 8988
